Description

Eley Farmhouse is a late 16th century timber-framed house with one storey plus an attic, which forms a crosswing to a late 17th century timber-framed house that has two storeys and an attic. Both sections feature red brick nogging and are partially faced with brick. The roofs are steeply pitched and covered with plain tiles, ending in gabled peaks. The windows are 19th century and modern casements with glazing bars. The late 17th century extension includes a small gabled dormer and a large off-centre brick chimney stack with pilastered angles. The late 16th century section has an external stack located at the side.
