Description

Rowans is a 17th-century cottage, originally timber-framed and now largely painted brick, with later extensions to each end constructed in painted brick. The roof is thatched and has a chimney stack at the original east end and a further stack at the east end. The cottage is single-storey with an attic, featuring casement windows; one is triple-paned, one has a pair of panes, and one is located in the modern west end. Two eyebrow dormers are visible at the rear, along with a modern porch.
