Description

This 17th-century cottage is situated on Cooper’s Lane in Bengeworth. It is constructed of rubble and timber frame, with a distinctive exposed timber frame to the west-facing gable. The cottage is two storeys high and features a slightly projecting gabled bay to the left. This bay contains a 3-light iron casement window with a hood mould above, and a 4-light window on the ground floor. To the right is a 5-light stone-mullioned window, also with a hood mould. A plain doorway provides access, incorporating a 6-panelled door. Stone stacks rise from the roof, which is covered in Cotswold stone.
