Description

Durcott House is a 16th-century building with later alterations, located in Bengeworth. It is constructed of rubble and has two storeys. The façade features three sash windows, with the lower ones having restored stone hood moulds. The doorway has been altered and includes a rectangular fanlight and a six-panelled door. There are 19th-century tripartite windows on the ground floor, and a blocked stone mullioned window is located in the gabled end to the north. The building has coped gabled ends with kneelers, renewed stone stacks, and a modern slate roof. At the time of inspection in 1976, it was undergoing restoration.
