Description

The Institute of Horticulture is a large ashlar house built in 1840. It is two storeys high and features seven windows, which have slight projections at each end. The windows are 12-pane sashes. At the center of the building, there is an Ionic porch with a heavy entablature. The structure is topped with a balustraded parapet and a moulded cornice, and there is a band at the first floor level.
