Description

This late 18th-century house, originally part of a terrace, now incorporates a shop on the ground floor. It is constructed of red brick with stone details, and has a hipped clay tile roof to the left-hand side. The original plan comprised a single depth with a central hallway and main entrance.

The house has five windows on the first floor, arranged as 2:1:2. Stone window sills are present, along with incised, capped keystones above the window openings. Decorative dentilled eaves run along the roofline. Late 19th-century canted oriels are located to either side of the central first-floor window, with a configuration of 1:1/1:1. All other windows are sash windows with a single pane of glass in flush frames, set within flat, gauged brick arches. A late 20th-century timber shopfront is present. A single-window range to the left is a later infill, constructed to match the appearance of the rest of the terrace.

The interior of the building was not inspected.
