Description
Nos 8 and 10 on New Street in Upton-upon-Severn are an early 18th-century pair of brick houses that were stuccoed in the 19th century. They are two stories tall with an attic and feature plain tile roofs. The houses have four pedimental gabled dormers and a range of four 19th-century sash windows. Notably, No 8 has a fine shopfront from around 1800, which includes a 32-pane bowed window situated between two doors, all framed by fluted pilaster surrounds with fanlights above. No 10 has a 19th-century eight-pane shopfront and a six-panel door. The rear of the building is constructed from brick and features a gabled design. Inside No 10, there is an early 18th-century moulded handrail on the staircase.
