Description

This is an early 18th-century farmhouse with 19th-century additions, constructed of red brick and featuring a plain tile roof. The farmhouse has four dormers and originally had an L-shaped plan, later extended to the rear and east. The south front initially had a five-window range, two of which are now blocked. Original wood cross windows remain in two bays, and one has been enlarged to a three-light window. Ground-floor openings on the south front include a blocked opening, a three-light window, another blocked opening, a door within a tiled porch, and a final three-light window. A single window range at the east end dates to the 19th century, consisting of an upper cross window and a lower three-light window. A floor band is present on the original range. The rear right gable features two bands to the attic and a northwest angle stack. Two-light windows are present on the rear. A later block in the angle has cambered-head windows on the first floor. A long outshut runs along the ground floor to the rear. Attached to the northwest angle is a small timber-frame barn with a plain tile roof.
