Description

The Nook and Smithy Cottage is a pair of cottages dating from the 17th century. They are constructed with a timber frame and painted brick, topped with a plain tile roof. The building features one ridge stack, three gabled dormers, and an outside stack at the east end. The square framing is a notable characteristic. On the ground floor, the left side has a door flanked by a 2-light casement and a 3-light casement, while the right side has a door and a 3-light casement.
