Description

This tomb chest, dating from the late 18th century, is located approximately 6 metres south of the south chapel of the Church of St John. It is made of limestone and has a square plan with square baluster corners. The chest features a fluted frieze adorned with paterae and a dentilled cornice. The moulded top includes an iron armature intended for a finial. Inscriptions on the south and north sides are illegible as of April 1986. The west side displays a carving of angels, with shafts of light radiating from a central triangle.
