Description

The Mount is a brick house dating from approximately 1760 to 1770, and painted. It is three storeys high with a hipped slate roof, which may be a later alteration. The front elevation has a three-window range, a stone plinth, stone angle quoins, and stone sill bands. There are Palladian windows on the ground and first floors, with the centre window of the first floor arched. Three smaller windows are located on the second floor, with cambered heads to the outer windows, partly obscured by the eaves. Most windows have been renewed, some being glazing bar sashes with traceried heads. A modern porch has been added, and the front door is a plank door with rail studs.
