Description

The Baptist Chapel, built in 1734 and extended in 1867, is a brick chapel with a stucco finish and a plain tile valley roof. It features two gabled fronts and was originally two bays long, with an additional bay added to the east in 1867. The original two bays have round-headed windows with gauged brick heads and glazing bars. The front has three windows, with the center one being blank. There are double doors topped with a large hood supported by curved brackets. An addition for a Sunday School was built to the southeast in 1867. The chapel also includes 19th-century west gallery and fittings.
