Description

The barn located to the northwest of Pipers End Farmhouse dates from the 17th century and includes an integral granary at the south end. It features a timber-framed structure with red brick and a plain tile roof, characterized by square framing. The granary is two stories high, constructed with square framing and has a rear wall made of blue lias stone and brick. The barn itself consists of three bays and is supported by queen strut trusses.
