Description
The Grange is an early 19th-century house located in Newland. It is constructed of brick in Flemish bond and features a hipped tile roof. The building stands two storeys high and has three main bays. The windows are sashed with glazing bars and have gauged brick heads. In the central bay, there is a Doric pilaster doorcase topped with a triangular pediment, flanked by a fluted frieze that includes outer paterae and a central decorated panel. The house has chimneys at both ends. To the left, there are three lower bays that have similar windows, with a door located in the right-hand bay.
