Description

This is an 1869 guest house, designed by G F Bodley, part of the Convent of the Holy Name. It is constructed of red brick with a hipped tile roof. The building has two storeys and features sash windows with glazing bars and louvred shutters. The front facing the drive has four gables, each with a chimney rising from the apex. The entrance front is distinguished by a Venetian window and a two-storey porch, with the upper floor clad in weatherboarding. The garden front comprises eight bays and includes a pedimented garden door. Three dormers are incorporated into the roof.
