Description
Bright Earth Buddhist Temple, dating from around 1824, is a two-storey building finished in stucco. It features a three-unit frontage, with the central unit having a dentilled cornice and parapet. The windows are hung sashes with glazing bars; the first-floor windows are set in square-headed recesses, while the ground floor has full-height cambered-headed recesses. There is a band between the storeys. The central porch has a flat entablature and blocking course supported by paired pilasters, with panelled outer doors in a cambered-headed opening. The side units are slightly set back and also two storeys high, with a hipped slate roof. The right side has a door, and there is one hung sash window on the first floor only.
