Description

The Congregational Chapel, built around 1833, is a simple "Grecian Revival" stucco building featuring four bays. It has high semi-circular headed windows with architraves and panels below. The main entrance, located at one end, is framed by attached fluted Doric columns and an entablature above. This is topped by a projecting gallery window with a low pitched pediment supported by heavy enriched console brackets. The entrance consists of single-panel doors with a semi-elliptical fanlight above. The chapel is capped with a low pitched hipped roof made of Welsh slates.
