Description

The wall surrounding the forecourt north of Hewell Grange was built in 1902 and is made of sandstone ashlar. It forms a semi-circular forecourt that is enclosed by a low wall featuring an open balustrade. The central gateway has square piers that are pilastered and topped with an entablature and pinnacles. Each pier is flanked by a pedestrian entrance with a semi-circular arch and a lower pier, which also has a pinnacle.
