Description
The fifth lock from the south on the Walsall Junction Canal, built in 1841, connects the Walsall Canal to the Birchills Branch of the Wyreley Canal. Constructed of brick, it features some sandstone kerbstones in the lock chamber. The lock has single gates and cast iron sluice gear. It is part of a series of eight locks in this location.
