Description

The Old Grammar School, also known as Malvern House, is a mid-18th century building located on Solihull Park Road. It is constructed of red brick with an old tiled roof and features two storeys and attics. The façade includes two-storey gabled projections with brick copings on either side. A central four-panel door is framed by an architrave surround with a cornice supported by consoles. The building has sash windows and some casements with wooden transoms. It may incorporate elements from an earlier structure dating back to the mid-17th century. There are late 19th-century additions on the left side and at the back.
