Description

BALSALL LONGBROOK LANE 1. 5108 Magpie Farmhouse (Formerly listed SP 27 NW 11/139 11.11.52. under Balsall Street) II*

  1. Mid C16. Stone base to close set timber frame with whitewashed plaster infilling. Tiled roof. Red brick chimney stack astride roof ridge, base and cap mouldings. 2 storeys and attics, both gables oversailing at eaves level on console brackets. Flush lattice casement windows, 1st floor canted bay oriel windows on console brackets under both gable ends. Modern south wing. Interior: ground floor 4 centred arched stone chimneypieces.
