Description

The Hateley Heath Aqueduct, built in 1844, carries the Tame Valley Canal over Hydes Road. It is constructed from cast iron, with brick abutments and some sandstone dressings. The canal is held in an iron trough that is supported by girders. The parapets feature iron railings positioned between the end piers.
