Description

The Old House is a late 16th or early 17th century timber-frame farmhouse, formerly known as Pottery Farm. The structure has brick infilling, and originally comprised one storey and an attic. Two modern wood mullioned dormers with leaded lights have been added to the roof. The front features a plain doorway with a modern door. A projecting gabled wing is situated on the left-hand side, with a raised roof and a stone base. This wing contains a single window. A small gable is present on the right-hand side, and the roof edges display sprocket eaves. The roof is covered with a mix of old and new tiles.
