Description
The railings and gatepiers in front of the Church of St James, School, and Vicarage were built around 1860 by G. Bidlake. They are made of black brick with stone coping and feature cast-iron railings, which were likely added in the mid-20th century. The gatepiers are also constructed of black brick and have stone quoins and dressings, with moulded stone weathering. The total length of the railings and gatepiers is approximately 140 metres.
