Description

The George Inn Public House is a late 18th-century building located on High Street. It is constructed of red brick and has two storeys. The façade features two sash windows without glazing bars, set in lined reveals with moulded keyblocks and channelled lintels. Quoins are present only at the right-hand angle. There are two simple moulded wood doorcases, along with modern inn windows that are generally in keeping with the building's character. The roof has moulded plaster eaves and is covered with tiles.
