Description
Windmill Farmhouse is a mid-18th century house that has been converted into a restaurant. It is constructed of brick in Flemish bond and features a hipped tile roof. The building has a symmetrical design with three storeys and five bays. The windows are sashed with glazing bars and have keystones and gauged brick heads. The front door consists of six flush panels and is set in a timber surround with a transom light and a cornice hood supported by brackets. There are chimneys located to the left and right, positioned behind the ridge of the roof.
Inside, some main ceiling beams are chamfered. The left-hand front room includes an inglenook fireplace with a chamfered and stopped bressummer. In the right-hand room, the fireplace is flanked by round-headed pine cupboards that have raised and fielded panels.
