Description
17 Yateley Road is a 1907 house constructed in the Arts and Crafts style by H T Buckland and E Haywood Farmer for Hubert Adie. The house is pebbledash with brick dressings and a tile roof. It comprises a tall, narrow, three-bay gabled block set at a right angle to the road, and a lower gabled cross wing, which runs parallel to the road. The main block features a central doorway approached by steps, with a segmental hood and a geometrical brick pattern above. Windows are casements of varying sizes, set within shallow recessed arched panels on both the ground and first floors. The cross wing is longer on the left side, where a canted bay window is present, than on the right. The interior has been altered.
