Description

The House in the Elms Nurseries of the University of Birmingham Grounds Department is a mid-18th century brick building with a slate roof. It stands two storeys high and has two bays. The ground floor features a simple Gothick-panelled door, which is situated beneath a drip mould, and a mullioned window with a Gothick head and drip mould. On the first floor, there is a similar but smaller window on the right side. At the rear, there is another small window of the same style. To the right of the main structure, there is a lower extension that was added later.
