Description

The Abbey is a late 18th or early 19th century house, altered subsequently. It is constructed of stucco with a tiled roof. The house has two storeys and an attic, with a first-floor band, a frieze, and a cornice. Four sash windows are set within architrave surrounds, each with a segmental head and keyblock detail. A doorway on the left has an open pedimented hood supported by brackets, slim pilasters, and an oblong fanlight. A door on the right is flush-panelled with a fanlight, similarly set within a segmental headed surround with a keyblock. There is one box dormer and three gabled dormers, all with casement windows.
