Description
Dudley House and Lancaster House are a pair of dwellings dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations and additions from the 19th century. They are constructed of red brick, with three storeys and four windows. The windows have flat arches and plain keyblocks above the first floor. The ground floor lacks glazing bars. A recessed door is topped by a curved wooden hood supported by 19th-century wrought iron trellis. Pilasters flank the sides of the door. Stringcourses run horizontally and the building has moulded wooden eaves and an old tiled hipped roof. A slightly recessed, two-storey wing with a single sash window was added in the 19th century.
