HOB LANE 1. 5108 Moat Farmhouse SP 27 NE 12/242 II* GV

  1. Late C15 or early C16. Timber frame, whitewashed infilling of brick and plaster. Old tiled roof with diagonally set shafts to C16 red brick chimney stack. Rectangular plan with central back wing. Curved braces and close set studding. Casement windows. Interior said to retain original fireplaces. VCH, IV, p 29.
