Description

No. 5 Church Street is an 18th-century building that has been altered. It features a stucco exterior and a roof covered with Welsh slates. The structure has two storeys and an attic, which includes a gabled casement dormer with glazing bars. On the first floor, there is a sash window with glazing bars set in a reveal. The ground floor has a modern segmental oriel bow window. The entrance door is accompanied by an oblong fanlight, all framed by panelled pilasters and a frieze cornice. Inside, there is a post-1694 staircase. This building is part of a group of listed buildings on the west side of Church Street.
