Description

The Cottage is a small house dating from the 17th century. It is primarily timber-framed but largely encased in red brick, with a 19th-century wing on the left side. The older section features a gable facing the road and is built on stone foundations, with brick infill in the timber framing. The roof is steeply pitched and covered with plain tiles, featuring gabled ends. The building has two storeys and modern windows. There are two brick chimney stacks. Inside, you can find chamfered ceiling beams and oak stud partition walls filled with wattle and daub.
