Description
The Bache tomb, located approximately 16 metres north of the north aisle of the Church of Holy Trinity in Stratford-upon-Avon, is a chest tomb dating from around 1802. It is constructed of ashlar and features a moulded plinth, fluted balusters, and a plain top slab with a re-cut finish. The south side of the tomb records the names of Mary and Richard Salmon, who died in 1741 and 1754, respectively. The north side lists William and Mary Bache, who both died in 1802. Additionally, the ends of the tomb commemorate Mary and John Bache, who died in 1808 and 1826, as well as Thomas and Hannah Gray, who died in 1764 and 1781.
