Description

This chest tomb, located approximately 1 meter south of the chancel of the Church of St. Peter, dates from 1799 and 1805. It is made of moulded sandstone and features a moulded plinth and top. The tomb has square corner balusters and includes two fielded panels on the sides and one panel on the ends. The inscriptions commemorate John and Elizabeth Brierly.
