Description

Highfield House is a house built around 1830. It is constructed of Flemish bond brick and features a string course. The roof is double-span and covered with plain tiles, and there are brick stacks at each end. The house has two storeys and an attic, with a symmetrical front that includes a three-window range. The entrance features a fielded four-panelled door with an overlight that has lattice glazing and a moulded flat hood. The windows are four-pane sashes, each with gauged brick flat arches that include keystones and stone sills. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
