Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early to mid-18th century, shown on the Ordnance Survey map as Manor House. It is constructed of Flemish bond brick and features a string course. The roof is covered with plain tiles and has brick stacks at the ends. The building is designed in an L-shape with a wing on the right at the rear and stands two storeys high with an attic, comprising a seven-window range with a symmetrical front. The entrance features a six-panelled door with panelled reveals, a painted moulded wood architrave, and a pediment hood supported by shaped brackets. The sash windows have gauged brick flat arches, although the third bay on the first floor is blocked. There are three dormers with pediments, each containing 6-pane sashes. The long, irregular rear wing has a mansard roof and includes leaded two-light casements, horizontal sashes, and 20th-century casements. The interior has not been inspected.
