Description

Herbert Grey College, formerly known as William Temple College, is an 18th-century building with significant later additions. The original core of the building was a red brick rectory, characterised by a tiled roof, two storeys and attics, and two gabled dormers. A first-floor band runs around the building. Four flush sash windows with glazing bars, each with a flat arch, are present on the front facade. A recessed one-window wing extends to the left. A single-storey wing of pale brown brick projects to the right. A large, Tudor-style yellow brick wing is located at the rear, alongside more modern additions.
