Description
This is a group of two chest tombs located approximately 5 meters north of the organ chamber of the Church of St. Theobald and St. Chad. Both tombs are made of sandstone and feature a slate inscription slab set into the top. They have a moulded plinth and top, with fielded panels, including two panels on the sides and one on the ends. The northernmost tomb is inscribed to Mrs. Martha Okeover, dated 1769, while the southern tomb is inscribed to Mrs. Catherine Okeover, dated 1773.
