Description

CALDECOTE SP39NW 2/91 Group of 2 chest tombs approx. 5m N of organ chamber of Church of St. Theobald and St. Chad GV II 2 chest tombs of almost identical design. Sandstone, with slate inscription slab set into top. Moulded plinth and top. Fielded panels, with 2 panels to sides and one to ends. The northernmost tomb has an inscription to Mrs. Martha Okeover 1769; the southern tomb has an inscription to Mrs. Catherine Okeover 1773.
