Description
The Cricketers Arms Public House is a public house that is part of a row, dating from the late 18th century, with a ground floor that was altered in the late 19th to early 20th century. The building is rendered and features rusticated quoin strips and a moulded wood cornice. It has an old plain-tile roof and a brick stack on the left end. The structure is L-shaped, with a wing extending to the rear on the right side. It stands three storeys tall and has a three-window range.
On the ground floor, there are pilasters and an entablature. To the left and left of centre, there are four-panelled doors with overlights, although the left overlight is blocked. A four-panelled door on the right has a segmental arch above it. The ground floor also features two fixed-light windows with glazing bars. The first floor has sash windows, while the second floor has six-pane sashes. All windows are adorned with rendered rusticated flat arches that include moulded keyblocks. The central window is blocked by an inn sign, and there is a painted lead rainwater head on the left side.
