Description
Church Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of Flemish bond brick and features a brick dentil cornice. The roof is hipped and covered with old plain tiles, and there are brick stacks at the ends. The building is designed in an L-shape, with a wing extending to the rear on the right side. It has three storeys and a symmetrical front with a three-window range, raised on a high brick plinth. The entrance features a six-panelled door set beneath a fanlight, with panelled reveals that are recessed. The doorcase is made of moulded wood with pilaster strips, consoles, and a shallow flat hood, accessed by steps. The windows include 16-pane sashes and a central 12-pane sash, all with rusticated rendered flat arches and keyblocks. The low second floor has no windows, while the right side of the building has a low three-light casement on the second floor. The interior has not been inspected.
