Description

This is a barn located approximately 20 metres north of Hay House Farmhouse, dating from the early 18th century with some alterations from the late 19th century. It is constructed from coursed dressed and squared stone and features a tiled roof with chamfered eaves and verge parapets. The barn has an L-shaped plan with a lean-to outshut to the north and is a single-storey structure. There is a 19th-century opening to the left and a large cart entry to the right of centre, which is positioned against the return of the outshut. This cart entry includes a doorway with a heavy lintel at the centre, flanked by small sidelights.
