Description

The Copestake Memorial is a chest tomb located 70 meters southeast of the Church of St. Giles in Cheadle. It commemorates Joseph Copestake, who died in 1760. The tomb is made of stone and features a moulded plinth. At the corners, there are inset, fluted, waisted, and gadrooned pilasters, with incised sides. The top slab is also moulded.
