Description

Nos. 68 and 70 on Tape Street are a pair of houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of red brick and feature a tiled roof with a dentilled eaves course and a central ridge stack. The front of the houses is three stories high and has two windows that are inset from the sides. The windows are glazing bar sashes with painted wedged heads. The entrances are located at each end and have moulded surrounds with six-panel doors. To the left, there is a gabled lightweight porch. These houses are noted for being a complete example of their type.
