Description
The Rectory is a building dating from the late 18th century, with additions made in the mid-19th century. It features painted brickwork and a tiled roof with a cogged eaves course, along with facetted mid-19th century end and ridge stacks. The structure is two stories high with a dormer-lit attic and has a symmetrical four-window front that reflects its 18th-century design. The windows are glazing bar sashes with segmental heads. Above the central entrance, which consists of a part-glazed six-panel door set in a moulded surround, are three gabled dormers. To the right, there is a continuous mid-19th century addition that has a single range of glazing bar sashes and is designed with greater room heights, lacking an attic.
