Description

The Eddowes Memorial is a pedestal tomb located approximately 30 meters north of the chancel of the Church of All Saints in Dilhorne. It dates from the early 19th century and commemorates Ann Eddowes, who died in 1824. The tomb is made of stone and features a wide base, which was formerly enclosed by railings. It has a stepped moulded plinth, a die with an inset frieze at the angles, a reeded cornice, a surbase, and an urn finial on top.
