Description
The Harding tombs and headstone are located approximately 4 metres south of the Church of Holy Trinity in Baswich, Stafford. This site features two chest tombs enclosed by railings, along with a small headstone to the north. The first tomb commemorates Edward and Anne Harding, who died in 1775 and 1803, respectively, as well as Richard and John, who died in 1808 and 1801. It has square balusters and a bowed west end. A similar tomb is dedicated to Edward Harding, who died in 1818, and Esther, who died in 1831. The spear-headed railings surround the tombs. The small headstone outside the railings has a shaped head and an inscription that reads: H/1672.
