Description
Castle Cutting Bridge (Number 30) is an accommodation bridge built around 1830-1833, designed by Telford. It is constructed from stone and features a stone band and copings. The bridge has tall dimensions and a single elliptical arch made of voussoirs. It includes solid parapets and piers, with abutments that are battered outwards towards the base and slightly curved in plan. On the north side, there is an oval iron number plate, and two iron rope fenders are present.
