Description
The drinking fountain located to the west of Slindon Villa was built in 1884. It is a stone structure designed in the Gothic style, featuring a gabled roof. The fountain includes a trough set within a recess that has a pointed arched head, complete with a hood mould and foliated labels. An inscription on the fountain notes that it was erected by John Charles Salt for the use of the inhabitants of Slindon. The fountain is currently disused.
