Description
The salt monument, located approximately 20 metres north of the transept of the Church of Holy Trinity in Baswich, is a Grade II listed structure. It commemorates Thomas and Sarah Salt, who died in 1837 and 1840, respectively, as well as Hannah and John, who died in 1838. The monument is made of ashlar and features a square design with tracery on its panels and a cornice topped with an urn. The inscription on the monument is partly illegible.
